Exquisite audiospace is an installation that combines both real and virtual aural space. What is the essence of a moment? How does past influence a moment in time? Consequently, how does this moment affect the future? Inspired by a surrealist method, the exquisite corpse, the experience involves a user wearing a headset and a microphone and can hear the sounds, messages, parts of stories left by everyone before them and record their part in sequence to that. It is today a individual yet collaborative experience that lets users create short stories that build off one another as they explore a specific theme. The result is a collection of branching narratives floating in a constellation.
